Kreston Global is a network of 22,000 people in 170 independent accounting firms across more than 120 countries. The network’s aim is to provide responsive, empathetic and personal support for mid-sized entrepreneurial businesses and individuals looking to expand overseas. 

In 2021, Kreston celebrated 50 years and rebranded from Kreston International to Kreston Global in recognition of the expansion of the network.

Akiko Design executed a full brand refresh and applied the new Kreston Global brand across all audience touch points including a new website. 

Having worked with Akiko previously on similar projects in this sector, I asked them to work on this integrated brief. They were prompt, collaborative, responsive and creative – all the characteristics I have come to expect from them and on which I rely to get a great job done. We were very pleased with the outcome and have had both compliments and an uptick in website enquiries and new members as a consequence.

Following a comprehensive audit of Kreston’s existing brand identity along with competitor analysis, Akiko carried out a full brand refresh which involved:

  • Logotype: simplifying the structure; refreshing the colour palette and giving unique character
  • Brand elements: refreshing the typography, colour palette and iconography style
  • Photography: establishing a photography style for use across the website, digital marketing and printed materials
  • Brand guidelines: creating a brand guidelines document to ensure consistent brand application by all member firms.

Akiko designed and developed a bespoke WordPress website to act as the primary manifestation of the new Kreston Global Brand and a shop window for the service offering.

Fully integrated with Kreston’s CRM system, the website pulls in member details to create a comprehensive member directory. Each member has a profile page on the Kreston Global website providing details of office locations, services offered and key contacts. Users can filter the directory and use the map view to search for firms within a specified radius of their own location.

Following its launch, Akiko now hosts and supports the Kreston Global website as the network continues to build on its extensive knowledge bank of accountancy news, articles and client success stories.
