Ghost London

Branding, eCommerce, Web Design

Ghost London launched three decades ago and has since become an established fashion house producing women’s contemporary clothing. All the garments are easy to wear, to care for and can be worn by women of all ages and shapes. Every design is a celebration of women.

Akiko’s partnership with Ghost began in 2016 with a brand relaunch that aimed to redefine Ghost’s position as a British design icon.

Key to the relaunch of Ghost was re-aligning the brand with contemporary audiences – Akiko’s work to reinvigorate how the brand communicates across digital media has been a vital component of Ghost’s renewed success.

Akiko kicked off the brand refresh process with a full audit of the existing identity, competitor analysis and meetings with key stakeholders at Ghost.

We revitalised the iconic 90’s fashion brand to articulate a London-centric sense of modern elegance for a new audience of discerning customers.

Using full guidelines produced by Akiko, the brand was then rolled out to create synergy across Ghost’s digital and printed marketing assets.

Ghost Lookbook

Over the last 4 years since working with Akiko, Ghost has seen a massive increase in its social media following and online revenue has grown twentyfold.

When Ghost collaborated with M&S recently, the entire collection sold out within 24 hours which is testament to how successfully Akiko has managed to reinvigorate the Ghost story.
