BSGE ASM Mobile App
The British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) was founded by a group of consultant gynaecologists keen to promote the benefits of minimal access surgery for their patients, and Akiko are proud to have supported them with their online presence since 2015.
Launched in 2019 at Celtic Manor, Newport, the BSGE’s latest digital offering is an innovative mobile app, developed by Akiko, for their Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) event. With e-ticketing built in, not only does it offer a greater user experience for attendees, but by being totally paperless it’s also better for the environment.
A feature rich mobile app available on Android and iOS, it’s core functionality allows event attendees to display their tickets, check-in, interact during seminars with Q&A’s and voting polls, build their own programme and receive push notifications and reminders.

Increasing attendee engagement is a key objective for the app, and is achieved with various functionality including seminar Q&A’s, voting polls, user image uploads and push notifications.
